Pokémon Breeding
Create powerful Pokémon through strategic breeding and hatch your perfect team!
First-Time Breeder's Guide
1Prepare Your Pokémon
Place two compatible Pokémon in a Pasture together. They should be opposite genders (except for Indeedee, which can breed with either gender).
2Wait for an Egg
Every 5 minutes, there's a 50% chance your Pokémon will produce an egg. Stay nearby to increase your chances!
3Collect the Egg
When you see an egg appear, simply right-click it to add it to your inventory. Eggs will go to your hotbar automatically.
4Hatch Your Egg
Keep the egg in your hotbar and walk around. Different species require different distances - check your egg's tooltip for progress.
Breeding Mechanics
Egg Production
Compatible Pokémon in Pastures have a 50% chance every 5 minutes to produce an egg. Indeedee is special - it can breed with either gender of its own species.
Egg Ownership
The egg belongs to the female Pokémon's owner. For genderless Pokémon or male-only pairs, ownership is randomly selected between the two parents.

Hatching Mechanics
Egg Cycles
Each species requires a set number of Egg Cycles to hatch (shown in the egg's tooltip). One cycle equals approximately 336 blocks of walking or sprinting.
Example Hatching Distances:
- Magikarp: 5 cycles (~1,680 blocks) Pikachu: 10 cycles (~3,360 blocks)
- Dragonite: 40 cycles (~13,440 blocks)
- Legendaries: 120+ cycles (~40,320+ blocks)
What Counts:
- Walking/Running
- Sprinting (Speed 4 or below)
- Natural movement only
